A couple of new interviews with Jeff Carney (Producer/Director of Autopsy Of The Dead) and Jim Cirronella (Producer of Autopsy Of The Dead). I was also interviewed in the September 20th edition of the Rock Island Argus Newspaper.
I edited together some exclusive Autopsy Of The Dead video clips upon request of The Wall Street Journal so they could use them with their article on Night Of The Living Dead. You can read the article right here. It's a great write up on some of the people that were involved in the making of the George Romero film Night Of The Living Dead. You can watch a larger view of The Wall Street Journal Exclusive Autopsy Of The Dead clips right here. Great to see these wonderful people from Night Of The Living Dead receive some more recognition after all of these years.
His review also included "If this is any indication, Carney has got plenty of talent. One of the better indie ghost-stalker flicks I've seen...The grief expressed by the characters only adds to the tension and atmospherics of the film."
My film, Siege Of Evil, was just reviewed by Jamie Lisk from Cranked On Cinema. He stated he liked it better than the $10 million dollar film "White Noise" which was distributed by Universal Pictures and starred Michael Keaton. My favorite line of the DVD review "The sense of dread is ever present."
Interviewed during the one hour episode are Max Brooks (Author of The Zombie Survival Guide/son of Mel Brooks), film director George Romero, Jeff Carney (Autopsy Of The Dead), Jim Fyfe (Dark Shadows), Elvira, and Larry Kirchner (Top 13 Haunts in the U.S.)
My interview for the Patrick Phillips Talk Show is online now. I had a great time chatting with Patrick and felt honored to be interviewed on the Halloween Zombie themed show with the other guests.
Autopsy Of The Dead has surpassed expectations with the incredible fan reaction we have received. It is very nice to know that so many fans appreciated the Documentary on NIght Of The Living Dead and have made it so successful with the consistent sell outs on Amazon.com We wanted to provide a unique DVD that was unlike anything produced to date on our favorite zombie film and purposely made sure it was designed not for the casual Night Of The Living Dead fan but the hard core fan that wants to know and see every detail. I'm still amazed that I'm receiving email almost daily from delighted fans discovering "Autopsy Of The Dead" for the first time. You helped us save these stories and these pieces of cinema history that might have otherwise been lost to time - Thank you!
We are also thrilled with the honors and awards that Autopsy Of The Dead has received. Special Thanks to the amazing and generous cast / crew of Night Of The Living Dead for their contributions / sharing their stories with us on Autopsy Of The Dead. We have been very fortunate to have also been nominated for Best Independent Film Of The Year at the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Movie Awards and Best Direct To Video Title Of The Year by the home video industry (Reaper Awards which was a red carpet event at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel) since the release of Autopsy. Wonderful honors which are appreciated. And I can't forget the Best Soundtrack CD at this years Dead Letter Awards went to "They Won't Stay Dead" (digitally restored and licensed library music which was used in Night Of The Living Dead). Autopsy Producer Jim Cirronella worked very hard at putting together the CD and releasing it. Congratulations Jim! You can hear the Autopsy Award at 1:42:00 during the MP3 playback of the Awards Show.
The film simply won't stay dead and neither will the amazing CD soundtrack that Autopsy Producer Jim Cirronella released this past year of 41 original and licensed library tracks from the music publishers which were used in Night Of The Living Dead that were digitally remastered. An official soundtrack LP came out in 1982 but was missing 19 of the library cues used. "They Won't Stay Dead" CD has 41 of the cues and represents the most complete soundtrack of the film's library music released to date. You will hear some of these cues in "Autopsy Of The Dead" as we licensed them from the music publishers for the documentary as well. "They Won't Stay Dead" CD soundtrack is the first time all of these original library cues used in the motion picture George Romero's Night Of The Living Dead (1968) appears in a digital and completely uncut format. At one point, the CD even cracked Amazon's Best Sellers Top 100 in Movie Soundtracks and Movie Scores! Visit the official Autopsy Of The Dead website to purchase the DVD Documentary and the CD.
2010 has proven to be an amazing year with a lot of work on the horizon as we are developing long term productions. Many of which are already in various script stages - some complete, some being revised, and a couple of screenplays being written.
After the success of Autopsy Of The Dead, the coroner has excised more interview clips that were deleted from the Autopsy Of The Dead DVD - nearly two hours of additional footage. You can view all 36 New clips here!

With the exceptional success we've had with Autopsy Of The Dead, one of the most frequently asked questions I receive is will there be a sequel? Here's the answer - At the moment, I'm involved in writing, producing and directing, as well as editing several film projects. I generally avoid doing a sequel to a film I made. As I would prefer to do something different. However, the only way, and I feel like I can also speak for fellow Autopsy Producer Jim Cirronella, we would ever consider doing Autopsy Of The Dead 2 is if we could uncover even more material than we had in the first film. It would have to be just as special and unique as Autopsy Of The Dead is for the hard core Night Of The Living Dead fan whom we target the documentary for rather than a casual viewer/fan. An average documentary just doesn't cut it and I would have any interest in doing one of those. I can say we have been surprised to unearth some new material on the film since the making of the documentary.
You can stay up to date on Autopsy Of The Dead by liking our Facebook page for the latest Autopsy News and see some rare artifacts and material from Night Of The Living Dead. Much of which is exclusive to Autopsy Of The Dead including some material which has never been seen before including on the Autopsy Of The Dead DVD. On our FB page, you will have the opportunity to interact with other Night Of The Living Dead fans who share your love for the classic 1968 George A. Romero Film.
Completing green screen and animation Tests for The Ansbach Horror. Looking great even if the start date of the film is still a ways off in the future.
I've been writing a new screenplay and was approached about turning a older film which I produced and directed into a much larger movie in 2017/2018. It's called The Creeper and I am considering it as I take the film into development.
It's a little early but getting a jump on some early sound design work for the upcoming film in 2015/2016 called The Ansbach Horror. In the field recording audio for building a sound library which will be used on this film and other upcoming movies.
