Another view

Down another street, I found this just sitting there - One of the
Lyon Estates monuments (there were two in front of the
neighborhood street entrance where Marty McFly lived in Back to the
Future).
And if you look long enough you can find pretty much anything on
the backlot.

The Delorean from Back to the Future (notice the license plate -
Outatime). This was the Delorean from the future (that Doc Brown
drove back to Marty's house at the end of the movie) with the white
Mr. Fusion fuel generator added to the top.

Jeff Carney and the main Delorean that Michael J. Fox drove in Back to the Future.
I ended up liking the gullwing doors on the Delorean so
much that I ended up buying a Bricklin with gullwing doors.
Only 2854 Bricklins were factory made in Canada.
And it's believed less than 1500 are left. Many people don't
know that the Delorean design used by John Delorean
was actually a rejected Bricklin design he purchased
from Malcom Bricklin after not being able to work on
the manufacturing of the Bricklin. As the car isn't a kit
car but a factory made car (like a Ferrari) in Canada.
So when people tell me that my car looks like a Delorean -
actually it's the other way around - The Delorean looks
like a Bricklin.

When I'm not making films or spending time with family/friends I enjoy
cars - especially fast ones. White Bricklin/Corvette.

Some trivia - My car was used as the bounty hunter's car in the
movie Hawk Jones due to it's exotic looks. Someone posted
pictures of scenes involving the car at http://www.bricklins.net/
under Photo Albums / Movies and Television / Hawk Jones.
And then there was this place on the Universal backlot.
One day at lunch, I met the owner, a quiet man, who
said he would give me a tour and I could meet his mother
who still lived in the house which was right next to a motel.
But fortunately my lunch hour was over and I had to get
back to work. The house from Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.

While I didn't take him up on the offer to meet his mother - I did take him up on the offer to sign this photo. Anthony Perkins signed photo as Norman Bates - since I work in the film industry I decided to collect movie memorabilia as a hobby.
