During my freshman year in college, I decided I wanted to film an attack on a farm house by zombies so I could practice my editing skills - Night Of The Living Dead was the inspiration. So I gathered some friends together and shot some comedy bits (so it would be less work and more fun for my friends) that lead up to the zombie attack on the farm house. 

That practice film was called Curse Of The Irate Zombies (or the actual title as I wanted to show how far we took the comedy in it - Curse Of The Irate Zombies from Hell and Beyond The Grave Who Stalk People Like You and Me). We did locate an abandoned farm house in the country that the owner was kind enough to let us take over and do whatever we wanted to it. We shot for three consecutive nights (from dusk to dawn). While the farm house had no power, the farmer had a barn nearby which we ran extension cables from over to the abandoned house which powered our lights (both for lighting the exterior and interior).
